Aaron Etingen is an EdTech entrepreneur who is driven by a vision of improving accessibility to education which motivated him to create Global University Systems (GUS), where he currently acts as the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Aaron founded GUS through the creation of the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) in 2003. Under Aaron’s leadership, GUS group now serves more than 100,000 students on its campuses and more than 20 million students online through one of its 30 owned institutions across the globe.

The GUS group has built and grown multiple highly-awarded higher education institutions under Aaron’s leadership. The University of Law, which was added to the GUS network in 2015, is now a world-renowned university and a leading provider of professional legal training in the UK and Europe. The institution was also recognised as the best university in England in National Student Survey 2020. Similarly, University Canada West, which was added to the network in 2014, is a 5 star rated university in QS Top Universities rankings.

As a result of continued education excellence, GUS group and its institutions have won several accolades over the years, including the “Queen’s Award for Enterprise” in 2013 for achievements in international trade. Additionally, Arden University was awarded the “Education Business of the Year” in 2020 at the prestigious Education Investor Global Awards. Due to its continued global success, GUS was also awarded the title of “Private Education Group of the Year” at the Education Investor Awards in 2019.

The GUS group continues to be at the forefront of innovation in the Education sector. During the Covid pandemic in 2020, Aaron drove online transformation of all institutions in the GUS group and nearly 100% of all course offerings were made available digitally to ensure that students could get access to quality education from anywhere in the world.

With its recent addition of leading UK-based online education platform, FutureLearn, the group continues to maintain its leading position as a dynamic learning education platform providing students worldwide access to education and life-long opportunities.
